The Kingdom of God Cannot be Shaken

A great move of the Holy Spirit is going on in the Church. Even though we are living in perilous times, the power of God has not been shaken. Politics and pandemics are the news, but this does not affect the Kingdom of God. There is much corruption in our government and division in our nation, but the Kingdom of God has not been shaken.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” (Hebrews 12:28).

As we are rapidly approaching the return of Jesus, the enemy has launched an all-out attack on the Body of Christ, our nation, and the world. He has been attempting to destroy churches, ministries, families, businesses, and our freedoms. In some places it may look like he is having victory, but he should not start his victory dance too early, because the Kingdom of God has not been shaken.

His greatest attack is against leadership. He knows if he can destroy the leaders, the sheep will scatter. He knows that a fallen leader can be used as advertisement for the kingdom of darkness, so he ridicules the fallen leader and displays him in the face of the Church attempting to bring discouragement to the weak. But even though the enemy has a plan and even though he thinks victory is within his grasp, you must remember this. The Kingdom of God has not been shaken.

In the army of God, we have access to the greatest power of the universe. The Church has been given ultimate authority over all the power of the enemy and if we walk in this power, nothing shall by any means harm us. Not only do we have authority, but we have the ultimate weapon which is the sword of the Spirit – the Word of God. This weapon is activated when a Christian speaks what God has promised. When we proclaim, declare, and decree the promise of God, we activate the covenant, and the result is victory. No weapon formed against us can prosper because greater is the One living in us than he who is in the world.

In these perilous times, we cannot allow what we see and what we hear to cause us to speak the negative words of doubt and defeat. We walk by faith (believing God’s promise of victory) instead of walking by sight.

Proverbs 4:20 says that we should keep our eyes on God’s Word. When we allow our eyes to focus on the false images and fake news that comes from the enemy, the natural result is to believe it. Faith (believing God) comes from hearing what God has to say. Fear comes by hearing and believing the evil report of the enemy.

It doesn’t matter what the enemy says. It doesn’t matter what the enemy does. It doesn’t matter if the enemy is doing a victory lap for the world to see, because the kingdom of God has not been shaken. Regardless of what the enemy does, we have the victory!

This is why it is extremely important for Christians to separate themselves from negative speaking that only promotes fear and failure. The sword of the Spirit must be kept sharp, and we do that by hearing and speaking God’s promise of victory. God has a plan for your life and God has a plan for this nation. God’s plan does not include defeat.

Remember, the kingdom of God cannot be shaken!

Scripture References:

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).
